Through her work, MIREYA HERRERA explores the “something else” in life. Her childhood and adult life have been filled with a vivid observation of people, nature and objects. A graduate of U.C. Irvine (Pre-Law) and Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, she continues her studies at Grand Central Atelier in New York City. Mireya was born in Los Angeles and has also lived in New Orleans and the Bay Area. Her travels have carried her to the South Pacific, France, Italy, Japan and Australia. She currently lives and continues to love Brooklyn, NY.
